Yes — downloading GigBoard and browsing local gigs is free. Pro features for power users and tools for bandleaders are planned for later.
Launching in Nashville
The fastest way for musicians to fill paid gigs
GigBoard is a gig marketplace — discover local paid gigs, audition for live performances, and fill open spots in minutes. When a drummer bails the night before a show, GigBoard finds the right player fast.
Free to download. iOS & Android.
The problem
Booking local gigs is still broken
Musicians coordinate through fragmented, general-purpose tools that are slow, low-trust, and impossible to search by instrument, genre, or location.
- × Craigslist and Facebook groups — no structure, no search, no trust.
- × Group texts that only reach the people you already know.
- × Showing up under-informed about pay, setlist, dress code, and location.
- × No fast, reliable way to fill a slot when someone drops out.
How it works
From “I need a player” to booked in minutes
Discover
Browse a radius-filtered feed of local gigs — filter by instrument, genre, pay, and distance. The Emergency Board surfaces last-minute paid gigs that need a player within 72 hours.
Audition
Tap “Audition for this gig.” Your profile — with at least one performance video — gives bandleaders the signal they need before they commit.
Book
Get accepted, message the band, and lock in the details. Build a network of musicians that turns one-off gigs into ongoing working relationships.
Features
Everything you need to find the gig — or the player
The GigBoard
A local feed built for the way musicians actually work
Every listing shows what's needed at a glance — positions, genre, date, pay, and distance. Radius-based filtering means you only see gigs you can actually make.
The Urgent Board
Fill a slot in 72 hours
When a drummer bails the night before a paid show, you don't have time for Craigslist. The Urgent Board flags urgent, paid gigs so the right player can step in fast.
Profiles & gear
Trust, by design
Auditions are gated on a performance video, so bandleaders see real signal before committing. Profiles showcase your instruments, gear, media, and social links.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Is GigBoard free?
Which cities is GigBoard in?
We’re launching in Nashville first to build a dense, active community of musicians, then expanding city by city. Download the app to be ready when we reach yours.
How do auditions work?
When you find a gig you want, you tap “Audition for this gig.” To keep quality high, auditioning requires at least one performance video on your profile — so bandleaders can see real signal before they commit.
Is there a web version?
Yes — you can use GigBoard on the web at app.gigboard.live. The native iOS and Android apps are coming soon.
How do I find last-minute gigs?
The Urgent Board is built for exactly this. It surfaces paid gigs that need a player within 72 hours — filter by your instrument and distance, and you can audition in seconds. Download GigBoard on iOS or Android to get notified the moment an urgent slot opens near you.
How do I find session musicians quickly?
Post a gig on GigBoard and specify the instrument, genre, pay, and whether it’s a live or studio session. Qualified local session players can audition immediately — you review their performance video before committing, so there are no surprises.
What instruments and roles does GigBoard support?
GigBoard supports all common instruments and roles — guitar, bass, drums, keys, piano, saxophone, trumpet, violin, vocals, and more. Bandleaders post what they need; musicians list the instruments they play on their profile so matching is fast and accurate.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account and data anytime from Settings → Delete Account in the app. If you can’t sign in, see our Account & Data Deletion page for how to request deletion by email instead, and for a full breakdown of what’s deleted versus retained.
